How is safeguarding training delivered?
CHART training can be delivered face-to-face or remotely through Microsoft Teams, depending on the needs of your organisation and the training being commissioned.
Can training be tailored to our organisation?
Yes. CHART provides bespoke safeguarding training that can be tailored to the professional context, safeguarding responsibilities and requirements of your organisation.
What levels of safeguarding training do you provide?
CHART currently provides Level 3 and Level 4 safeguarding training for children and adults, alongside a range of specialist and bespoke safeguarding courses.
How long are the training courses?
Training can generally be delivered as a full training day or, where appropriate, across four 90-minute sessions over approximately four weeks. The format can be discussed according to the course and organisational requirements.
Do participants receive a certificate?
Yes. Certificates are provided following training.
How are training and consultancy costs determined?
Training and consultancy services are tailored to individual and organisational requirements. Please contact CHART to discuss your needs and request a quotation.
Do you provide bespoke training for organisations?
Yes. CHART can provide safeguarding training tailored to the needs of individual organisations and professional groups, including healthcare providers, NHS organisations, care homes, dental practices, therapy organisations, charities and third-sector providers.
What is safeguarding consultation?
Safeguarding consultation provides professional support when an individual or organisation is dealing with a safeguarding situation and needs help considering an appropriate course of action. This may include safeguarding referrals, information sharing, confidentiality, professional responsibilities or other complex safeguarding decisions.
Who can use the safeguarding consultation service?
The service is intended for professionals and organisations that may need specialist safeguarding input, including healthcare, care, dental, therapy and other professional settings.
Is the consultation service an emergency safeguarding service?
No. CHART provides professional safeguarding consultation and guidance. It is not an emergency service and does not replace statutory safeguarding procedures, emergency services or an organisation’s own safeguarding responsibilities.
Do you provide safeguarding supervision?
Yes. Safeguarding supervision is one of the professional services offered by CHART. Please contact us to discuss your role, organisation and supervision requirements.

Do you offer training via Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Training can be delivered remotely through Microsoft Teams as well as face-to-face.
Can you provide training for larger organisations or teams?
Yes. CHART provides commissioned and bespoke training for organisations. Contact us with the approximate number of delegates and your requirements so the most appropriate training arrangement can be discussed.
How do we book training or consultation?
Use the website enquiry form and select the relevant enquiry type, such as Training Enquiry, Bespoke Training, Safeguarding Consultation or Safeguarding Supervision. CHART will then contact you to discuss your requirements.
Do we pay for training through the website?
No. There is currently no online checkout. Training and professional services are commissioned directly, and commissioners are invoiced separately.
